UK Landscapes provides a full range of highly professional services for the commercial sector including grounds maintenance, winter services, construction landscaping/fencing and arboricultural works. With in excess of 25 years’ experience UK Landscapes delivers a high quality service with high tech. support providing operational visibility to both the company and its clients.
We are now looking to appoint Construction Supervisor– to be responsible for up to 15 mobile construction teams working throughout the Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Organise & monitor stock levels in both HQ & satellite Depots ensuring adequate stock levels available to all teams to avoid unnecessary delays/cost.
- Carry out regular site visits as required/instructed to log work completed, maintain quality standards, determine work going forward and agree dates with site management/Head of Construction.
- Assist with month end valuations and stock taking.
- Monitor construction staff working/travel hours and quality/performance to ensure economical & efficient use of time & company resources
- Assist on site as and when required
- Carry out regular site / vehicle audits as required.
- Assist Head of Construction with maintaining standards of excellence, ensuring the continuance of the company’s reputation and client satisfaction.
- Maintain and proactively monitor Health & Safety standards.
- Organise Construction team’s diary / workload
- Liaise with Head of Construction and Contract Manager – placing & calling off orders to ensure continuity of work for all teams.
- Ensure issues are escalated to Head of Construction where necessary.
- Provide feedback to teams on an ongoing basis.
- Communicate updates to teams as required.
The ideal candidate will clearly demonstrate a supervisor level successful track record in landscape construction and fencing. Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and good intermediate IT skills are essential. There will be the opportunity to progress within the Company for candidates with the right attitude, ability, and ambition. CSCS card & driving licence are essential, candidates should also ideally have SSSTS or SMSTS.
