Our client provides a full range of highly professional services for the commercial sector including grounds maintenance, winter services, landscape construction and arboricultural works.

Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to cover sites in the Leeds / York area

This is a full time and permanent role for the right candidate.

Duties will include leading a team and delivering services including grass mowing, strimming, litter collection, leaf clearance, hedge and shrub pruning. Candidates preferably will have experience in team leading/supervising grounds maintenance, landscaping, gardening or outdoor work. As a Team Leader you will be overseeing a small team of 2-3 operatives.

Responsibilities will include supervising on site to ensure safe systems of works are adopted, operatives are suitable competent to carry out the work (particularly where mechanical plant and equipment is involved) and the team work in a safe and tidy manner.

Use and Knowledge of iPads is also required for this role.

Special Requirements

A full and valid UK Driving licence is essential for this role, so please only apply if you have a full and valid UK driving licence.
